This was a bone marrow smear photomicrograph revealing normal iron stores using Prussian blue stain.
Normal iron stores are seen as dark blue stained material in the bone marrow. A person unable to maintain a balanced, iron-rich diet may suffer from some degree of iron-deficiency anemia, or IDA.
